<div>Respondents report more corporate communications in 2009 (66%) than in 2008 (38%) </div>
</li>
<li>Only 31% of respondents report being highly effective in communicating their employment &#8220;deal&#8221; and only 38% report being highly effective in communicating change</li>
<li>75% of respondents report that employee engagement is highly important, but only 38% report their organziations are highly effective in their engagement strategies</li>

<p>The Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA), the Northeast chapter of SHRM,  will be sponsoring the event which has been approved for 12.0 credits towards PHR and SPHR recertification through the Human Certification Institute.</p>

If you have any line managers who are struggling with getting the most out of their employees, I believe this workshop is a must.  Participants will walk away with practical best practices to engage their employees &#8211; practices that will deliver results.  Each participant will develop his/her own Leadership Change Plan outlining specific leadership changes they will commit to when &#8220;they get back to the office&#8221;.   They can even participate in a leadership 360 review (optional at no additional cost), which will allow participants to focus on developmental areas and strengths.</p>

</strong>A wonderful opportunity for your HR and or OD team to spend two days learning about tools that work and picking up some great best practices, while also actively participating in effective metaphorical experiential exercises to reinforce learning.  As we climb out of our recession, leaders will soon be asking  &#8220;How are we going to engage our employees and leaders?&#8221; This workshop will be a significant first step in your HR team&#8217;s plan to help!</p>
